J.P. and Ashley got married on December 1, 2012 and their wedding aired as a TV Special on December 16, 2012.
They have a son, Fordham Rhys, born on September 30, 2014.
In May 2016 they announced that they are expecting their second child, a daughter. Their daughter, Essex Reese, was born on November 4, 2016.
On December 7, 2019, he was diagnosed with Guillain-Barré syndrome. It is a rare disorder in which your body's immune system attacks your nerves. Weakness and tingling in your extremities are usually the first symptoms. These sensations can quickly spread, eventually paralyzing your whole body. Ashley Hebert said that he was in treatment and was responding really well.
On October 14, 2020, Ashley and JP announced on Instagram that are divorcing and going their separate ways.
