Jade Elizabeth Tolbert (née Roper) was a contestant on the 19th season of The Bachelor.

She was eliminated in week 8.

She returned for, and won, the 2nd season of Bachelor in Paradise.

Personal life[]

In early 2016 Jade married Tanner Tolbert whom she met on the 2nd season of Bachelor in Paradise. Their wedding was documented on a special episode of the 20th season of The Bachelor.

On March 8, 2017, the couple announced that they are expecting their first child. On May 4, 2017, they revealed that they are having a girl. Their daughter, Emerson Avery, was born on August 17, 2017 (2017-08-17) (age 6).

On January 28, 2019, they announced that they are expecting their second child. On March 11, 2019, they revealed that they are having a boy. Their son, Brooks Easton, was born on July 29, 2019 (2019-07-29) (age 4). Jade delivered him in the closet of the couple's home, only 75 minutes after her water broke.

On May 18, 2020, they announced that they are expecting their third child. On July 14, 2020, they announced that they are expecting another boy. Their son, Reed Harrison, was born on November 14, 2020 (2020-11-14) (age 3).

On August 22, 2020, to honor "National Rainbow Baby Day", Jade revealed on Instagram that both Emerson and Brooks are rainbow babies. She later revealed in a Q&A on her Instagram stories, that they suffered a miscarriage before getting pregnant with Emerson and that they had a chemical pregnancy before conceiving Brooks.

In August 2023, they suffered a missed miscarriage. They decided to name the child Beau.
