The 12th season of The Bachelor, also known as The Bachelor: London Calling premiered on March 17, 2008. The show features British bachelor, Matt Grant, the first bachelor outside of North America, courting 25 women from the United States.
He utimately chose to propose to Shayne Lamas.
The season began with 25 contestants.
Holly Durst returned in the second season of Bachelor Pad, and won that season alongside Bachelor Nation alumnus Michael Stagliano.

Grant and Lamas broke up in July 2008 as they felt their lives were going in different directions, but stated they would remain close friends.
Lamas is now married to Internet personality Nik Richie. They have two children, daughter Press (b. 2011) and son Lyon (b. 2015).
Erin Storm, a hot dog vendor, later became a pilot. She died in an airplane crash at Hawthorne Airport in Los Angeles in 2016.
