The 14th season of The Bachelor (also known as The Bachelor: On the Wings of Love) premiered on January 4, 2010. The show featured 31-year-old Jake Pavelka, a pilot from Dallas, Texas, courting 25 women.

Pavelka was eliminated by Jillian Harris on the 5th season of The Bachelorette.

He ultimately chose to propose to Vienna Girardi.

Future appearances[]

After On the Wings of Love, Pavelka competed in the tenth season of Dancing with the Stars, partnered with Chelsie Hightower and finished in 7th place.

Ali Fedotowsky was chosen as the bachelorette for the 6th season of The Bachelorette.

Runner-up Tenley Molzahn, along with finalists Gia Allemand, Ashley Elmore, Elizabeth Kitt, Michelle Kujawa and Jessie Sulidis appeared in the 1st season of Bachelor Pad. They finished individually in 14th/15th, 9th/11th, 5th/6th, 18th/19th and 16th/17th, while Molzahn finished as runner-up with Bachelor Nation alumni Kiptyn Locke.

Jake Pavelka and Gia Allemand returned for the 2nd season of Bachelor Pad with Vienna Girardi and Ella Nolan. They finished 13th, 5th/6th and 7th/8th, while Allemand quit in 16th place.

Michelle Kujawa later returned in the 1st season of Bachelor in Paradise and quit the competition, finished in 25th place.

Tenley Molzahn later returned in the 2nd season of Bachelor in Paradise and finished in 7th/8th.

2 "Week 2" January 11, 2010
The 15 remaining bachelorettes move into their luxurious villa in Malibu, and the fairy tale begins. One lucky woman will get a fabulous one-on-one date: Jake will personally pilot the bachelorette to a romantic desert getaway in Palm Springs, where they will be serenaded by rock superstar group Chicago. One group date will give six women a chance to strut their stuff in a sexy photo shoot for InStyle Magazine, and the five women on the other group date are treated to a VIP visit to Six Flags Magic Mountain. However, some of the women will not have a date at all before the next rose ceremony, encouraging them to aggressively steal any time they can with the handsome pilot. But nothing can prepare Jake for the bombshell that will be dropped. For the first time in "Bachelor" history, having rose isn't enough.
3 "Week 3" January 18, 2010
Tensions mount among the 12 remaining bachelorettes and jealousy reigns when it's revealed that there will be two special one-on-one dates - each with a rose at stake -- and a group date. Once again, some women will not go on a date at all. One ecstatic woman hops on Jake's motorcycle and then on a helicopter for one of the most adventurous dates yet: a bungee jump off the infamous Bridge to Nowhere. Eight bachelorettes visit Jon Lovitz' popular Hollywood comedy club. But laughter turns to anxiety when they learn they each will perform a stand-up routine - not just for Jake, but a packed house. On the last individual date, Jake whisks another lucky woman away to Sea World in San Diego, where a huge surprise awaits. Finally, a rift forms in the house with all the women pitted against one bachelorette who claims to be there only to win Jake's heart, leading to an explosive rose ceremony.
4 "Week 4" January 18, 2010
The Bachelor surprises the nine remaining women with a road trip up the picturesque California coast. One lucky woman will snag an intimate date with Jake at a beautiful winery, but it will be up to the Bachelor to see if opposites really do attract. Six women will accompany Jake on a wild day of dune buggying, but with just one rose, the competition turns fierce. A romantic date with two anxious bachelorettes has Jake wondering if he can make a difficult choice. But, in the end, he makes some heartbreaking and shocking decisions that lead to unexpected exits, setting off a firestorm of emotions among the women.
5 "Week 5" February 1, 2010
The pressure is really on, as Jake struggles to decide which four women he will escort home to meet their families. But first, the five remaining bachelorettes end their adventurous road trip in the romantic city of San Francisco. This week there will three individual dates and one two -on-one date, but no roses are at stake. The rivalry between the women intensifies and tensions are running high as their feelings for Jake grow.

The stakes are high for Jake as he leaves his Los Angeles home for an exciting, emotionally charged journey across the country to visit the final four women's hometowns. Why is Gia afraid of falling in love? How will Ali's mother judge Jake in comparison to her past boyfriends? Is Tenley really ready for a new relationship after her tough divorce? And what part will Vienna's father play in the drama between Jake and his daughter? Just when Jake feels confident of his next decision, one bachelorette turns everything upside down in a single, gut-wrenching moment that leaves Jake reeling.
7 "Week 7" February 15, 2010
Romantic adventures await Jake and the final three women - Gia, Tenley and Vienna - as they travel to the picturesque Caribbean island of St. Lucia. From the rain forest to an old sugar plantation to a pirate ship, the dates are filled with excitement and passion, as Jake continues to explore what his future would be like with each of these potential mates. At the end of each evening, Jake will present the bachelorette with an invitation to spend an intimate night together in a "fantasy suite," with the hope that she will accept. But will she? It's a wild, romantic ride with each of the women - until Jake has to make another heart-wrenching decision - tremendously complicated by a departed bachelorette who pleads for a second chance.

Jake faces the women he rejected and the claws come out, as 15 jilted bachelorettes confront the handsome pilot. Plus, Rozlyn is asked about her surprising exploits.
9 "Finale" March 1, 2010
Jake prepares to make one of the most difficult choices of this life. His search for love is now narrowed down to two very different women -- Tenley and Vienna -- and he is falling in love with both of them. Now, after having his family meet them on the exotic island of St. Lucia, he must make one final heart-wrenching decision that could change his life forever.
10 "After the Final Rose" March 1, 2010
This is the special episode which airs after every finale. In season 14's segment, Jake told Chris Harrison about Bachelor Pad, Ali Fedotowsky was chosen as the next bachelorette in the sixth season of The Bachelorette. Jake and Vienna were seen in a public appearance as a couple, Jeffrey Osborne sang "On the Wings of Love" at the closing of the show.

Where are they now?[]

Pavelka and Vienna Girardi ended their relationship in June 2010.

Vienna briefly dated Kasey Kahl from the 6th season of The Bachelorette and the 2nd season of Bachelor Pad. She got engaged to race car driver Todd Allen in 2016. On June 9, 2017, Vienna announced that she is expecting twins. She later revealed that it was two girls. On August 13, 2017, Vienna announced that she had suffered a miscarriage. She nearly died after emergency surgery and spent 4 days in the ICU.

On August 12, 2013, Gia Allemand was admitted to University Hospital in New Orleans after an attempted suicide by hanging. She was declared brain dead and removed from life support two days later at age 29. At the time of her death, she was living in New Orleans and dating NBA player Ryan Anderson of the New Orleans Pelicans.

On February 16, 2016, Alexa McAllister died from a drug overdose in the manner of suicide.

Ali Fedotowsky became engaged to Roberto Martinez on the finale of the 6th season of The Bachelorette and they began living together in San Diego, California. In November 2011, Fedotowsky and Martinez officially ended their engagement.

On September 2, 2015, Ali Fedotowsky got engaged to her boyfriend, Kevin Manno. On July 6, 2016, the couple welcomed their first child, daughter, Molly Sullivan. They were married on March 3, 2017. On November 16, 2017, they announced that they are expecting their second child, in May 2018. Their son, Riley Doran, was born on May 25, 2018.

Tenley Molzahn married her longtime boyfriend Taylor Leopold on April 27, 2018. On March 23, 2020, they announced that they are expecting their first child. On April 23, 2020, they revealed that they are expecting a girl.
